South County Property Management is a tax-exempt corporation formed to provide management and resident services for rental properties serving very low to moderate-income individuals. SCPM currently manages 1350 rental units in the California counties of Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito and Monterey.
The rents for most of our apartments are below market rate. In order to apply for an apartment, you must first be placed on the waiting list, if it is open. Then we will contact you for an interview to complete the rental application. We will verify the income and assets for all household members to determine if you qualify for the program. We also run a credit report, criminal background check and rental history.
The number of occupants allowed per unit varies with apartment size and program. The age, sex and relationship to the household members may determine if you are eligible for the size apartment you wish to rent. Check individual property listings for specific information on income, occupancy standards and other requirements. Rents are subject to change and are set according to program regulations. The Department of Housing and Urban Development publishes the Income limits annually.
